Tony de Luca is an Adjunct Professor of Management and Finance at Sacred Heart University, Jack Welch College of Business, and a frequent lecturer and corporate seminar leader. Tony’s main objectives are helping students build successful careers and rewarding lives and helping companies and their executives get the best out of each other for top performance. Tony has previously taught Management and Finance at Boston University in Brussels.
Before his teaching career, Tony started Business Solutions in Europe with venture capital financing. He subsequently sold it to Ericsson of Sweden, was appointed Senior Vice President of Barclays Bank in Italy, then Managing Director of Philips Systems Integration Division in The Netherlands. After the division sold to Digital Equipment Corporation to the US, Tony started an investment fund in Brussels, with which he purchased, merged and sold a number of European software companies to strategic buyers. Tony then became a major contributor to the development of Internet-based commerce in Europe as Head of the Net Markets and Accelerator Division of Computer Sciences Corporation. He has also served as President of Management Centre Europe and Executive Fellow of the Conference Board.
Tony holds a M.S. in Engineering from the University of Bologna and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
